Costs

If you would like to go ahead you will pay an initial deposit (non refundable), we will then carry out the necessary tenant reference and credit checks. Once this is complete we will contact you initially via telephone to inform you of the checks outcome, and if successfully a tenancy agreement will be written and a moving date arranged.

How and what do I pay for the property?
You will pay for the rent of the property on a monthly basis, a standing order will be set up to pay the rent from your bank directly to us or the landlord. If your company is paying for your accommodation we will discuss various payment options with them.

Before you move into the property you will be required to pay one month's rent in advance, a security deposit and the remainder of our tenants fee. You can see these costs for individual properties using our property search, but as an example:

All fees are subject to V.A.T at 17.5%. You do not pay VAT on rent or security bond.

Methods of payment accepted
The costs above can be paid by credit or debit card (credit cards will incur a 2% fee), cash, cheque (please allow 7 days to clear) or bank transfer. The monthly rent will then be paid by standing order direct to our account or the landlord. We offer alternative payment methods for company lets, please call 0191 286 1700 for further details.
